Behind The Music

Harli is a singer songwriter from the south coast of Australia. Raised in the Adelaide foothills the artist first release her’ hit single 'Satisfied' in 2018 which was produced and co-written by Universal Music Publishing's own Liam Quinn. Wandering between electronic and alternative, Harli has a way with lyrics which is demonstrated in her second release ‘Wrecking’

Eight months after the launch of her initial creative works, Harli managed to secure a spot at the SA Music Awards The People’s Choice and was a finalist for Best Electronic Artist next to well known industry pros, such as Motez and Hartway. In January 2019, Harli released her EP ‘Almost Home’. The stand out track ‘Be Me’ was featured on a Spotify editorial playlist and gained over 10,000 streams in a few days of release.

With over 15 years of vast industry experience, Harli has had a major impact on the South Australian music scene previously under her name ‘Mahalia’. You might remember Harli from her successfully sold-out one-woman show hosted at the Adelaide Fringe; where most recently, she took to the stage with her shows ‘An Evening with Billie Holiday’ and the 5-star sold out show ‘Her Soul’. Previously she wrote, directed and starred in the monster stage show ‘What If’, working alongside international Award-Winning Composer Justin Pounsett, which won her a place shortlisted for the inSPACE award at the Adelaide Fringe Festival in 2017.


The singer has travelled the world with her sound, performing solo and internationally while singing with incredible artists along the way, even scoring a place on stage in 2017 with Guy Sebastian at Thebarton Theatre.
